My approach centers on helping organizations improve cash flow visibility, streamline operations, reduce inefficiencies, and build sustainable financial processes that support long-term success.

Background

I started DFS because I saw firsthand how hard small business owners work — and how often they have to do it alone.

Growing up, my dad owned a floor cleaning business. Watching him build and manage his company gave me an early understanding of the sacrifices, long hours, and pressure that come with running a business. Like many small business owners, he wore every hat himself while trying to keep the business sustainable for the long haul.

As my career progressed, I worked across government organizations, nonprofits, and Fortune 100 institutions, where I saw the incredible impact that strong operations, cash flow management, and back-office support could have on a company’s success. Large corporations invest heavily in operational improvements, financial strategy, and process optimization because they understand how much time, money, and growth potential those services create.

At the same time, I realized that many small and medium-sized businesses need those same solutions just as much — but often didn’t have access to them.

Throughout my career, I helped organizations save time, reduce costs, improve processes, and focus more energy on revenue-generating activities. I often found myself wanting to bring those same operational and financial strategies to smaller businesses, because I knew how transformational they could be. But many large organizations simply were not focused on serving that market.

That realization stayed with me because I kept thinking about business owners like my dad. I knew that if he had someone alongside him to help strengthen operations, improve cash flow, and build sustainable systems, things could have been very different.

What started as a passion project eventually became something bigger. I made the decision to leave my employer, branch off on my own, and build a company dedicated to helping small and growing businesses operate more efficiently, strengthen their financial foundation, and position themselves for long-term success.

Today, my goal is simple: help business owners spend less time overwhelmed by operations and more time focused on growth, opportunity, and the work they truly care about.
